Manual key sign off
“Previously, the staff had to sign out all the keys at reception. It was inefficient and gave us poor control,” says Ivo Klinkov, Chief Engineer at Hilton Stockholm Slussen.
Complete control of keys at all times
After installing KeyBox and KeyWin, each employee receives a code for a personal compartment where the key is stored. The computer allows control of who has access to which keys in the key cabinets. We can see when and by whom the keys are collected and returned. Changing permissions and time periods is very easy.
“We can customise key management for our exact needs. Some keys should be accessed by many, other keys are personal. Some departments need a KeyBox with individual compartment; others need a KeyBox with many keys in the same compartment. Everything is easy to combine with KeyBox key cabinets.”
Increased security and reduced costs
“The employees now only need to keep track of a single key, the one to the staff entrance. This means increased security, as a lost master key means considerable costs and a lot of extra work for the hotel. Improved key storage and control have minimised the risks.”
“For us, KeyBox and KeyWin mean: Good security, good organisation and, in the long term, positive economic effects.”
